The Communications& Electronics Engineering Program obtained a Quality Accreditation Certificate from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Education Accreditation.

The Architectural Engineering, and Construction and Building Engineering programs have been submitted for accreditation and are currently awaiting a response.

The course assessments are evaluated according to the following table.

FAQs for Enrolled Students - Engineering

The Engineering Programs are:

Architectural Engineering: Three Minor Programs from the third year: (Environmental Architecture, Heritage Conservation, and Urban Design).

Construction and Building Engineering.

Communications and Electronics Engineering.

The credit hour (CH) system is a way of measuring how much credit a student receives for attending courses that correspond to the hour per week spent in that course

The semester GPA represents the grade point average for a particular academic semester

The CGPA is the overall grade cumulative point average for all semesters.

For regular students: 18 CH, cumulative GPA 2.00 -2.99.

For outstanding students: 21 CH, cumulative GPA 3.00.    

According to the 2013/2014 Bylaw: 6 hours, maximum 3 courses. According to the 2017/2018 regulations: 6 hours, maximum 2 courses.

According to the 2023/2024 Bylaw: 8 hours, no course limit for any student, even those with difficulties – and 9 hours for outstanding students.

FAQs for Enrolled Students - Business Administration

First and second-level general studies, with specialization starting in the third year in one of the following concentrations:

  • Business Administration
  • Investment and Banking
  • Marketing
  • Business Information Systems

If the student is absent for more than two consecutive semesters or more than  three scattered semesters, or if they remain in the same level for more than two years.

The student must pass the first and second levels with a minimum of 27 (CH) in each level.

The student must complete 132 (CH) within 4 years, pass military training, and have a CGPA of at least 2.3.

The course to be improved must not be more than two semesters
